Dr. Ogunro attended medical school in his native Nigeria and subsequently completed a residency in Internal medicine at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons at Harlem Hospital in New York in 1997. Dr. Ogunro always had a passion for Emergency medicine and after a year of private practice, in 1998 began working as an Emergency room physician. He has been practicing Emergency Medicine ever since working at several area hospitals including Methodist Willowbrook and Tomball Regional. He is a member of the Harris County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association Dr. Ogunro lives in Houston with his wife Elama and their two children, Joseph and Faith, and is active in Northwest Community events.

Dr. Degioanni has been an Emergency Room Physician for more than 30 years and was the Medical Director and Chairman of Emergency Medical Services at St Josephs Hospital Emergency Department. He attended medical school at Northwestern University Medical school in Chicago and residency at Northwestern and Ohio State University Dr. Degioanni is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Harris County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association.
Courtney Landry, M.D.

Dr. Landry is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, relocating to Texas during her high school years. She graduated from The University of Texas-Houston Medical School in 2002 and completed her residency in Family Medicine at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, Louisiana, a suburb of her native city. Dr. Landry spent her first few years out of residency serving our country as an active-duty physician in the United States Air Force. In addition to Excel Urgent Care, she works as an Emergency Room physician in the greater Houston area.
Amelia Shelby-Nwokeji, M.D.

Dr. Shelby-Nwokeji is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and is a Board-Certified family physician with extensive ER and Urgent Care experience. After completing her undergraduate studies at Columbia University in New York, Dr. Shelby-Nwokeji attended medical school at Howard University in Washington, DC, and completed a Family Medicine residency at Georgetown University. She is currently a resident of Atascocita, Texas, where she lives with her husband Dr. Cordell Nwokeji (Urology) and three young children.
Anju Chacko, M.D.

Dr. Chacko graduated from JSS Medical College in India. She completed her residency in Family Medicine from York Hospital, PA. following which she practiced ambulatory care at Family Health First in PA prior to relocating to Houston.
Catherine Okonji, M.D., FACP

Dr. Okonji earned her medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in 2001 and subsequently stayed there completing her residency in 2004. She has since practiced medicine as a hospitalist at St Lukes Episcopal Hospital, and worked in private practice at CEB Medical Assoc for 5 years in addition to working in the Emergency room prior to joining Excel Urgent Care. Dr. Okonji is a member of the Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society.
Latisha Rowe, M.D
Latisha Rowe is a board certified Family Medicine physician who is dedicated to providing exceptional medical care.
Dr. Rowe is a native of Miami, Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology at the University of Miami. She moved to Philadelphia to obtain her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) at Temple University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Family Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration from Bauer College of Business through a Business of Medicine Fellowship at Kelsey Seybold Clinic. Upon completion of her fellowship Dr. Rowe accepted a position at Excel Urgent Care ? Katy where she works today. Dr. Rowe is also an active member of numerous local organizations including The Mary Susan Moore Medical Society, American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Rowe is committed to education and outreach in her local community. She supports numerous community programs including the Sister?s Network Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, March of Dimes Honey Child Prenatal Education Program, and the American Diabetes Association StepOut Walk.
